Claude-pilled
1.Having gone from trying Claude Code to rebuilding your entire workflow (and arguably your personality) around it. There is no known reverse pill.
He was a Vim guy for a decade. Now he's fully Claude-pilled and the config file is a system prompt.
01Origin
The "-pilled" suffix descends from red-pilled: internet shorthand for an irreversible change in worldview. Attached to Claude in early 2026 as Claude Code went viral, it named a recognizable arc: you try it once, you try it on a real task, and then one day you realize the terminal has been open for eleven hours and you have shipped a month of work. That day you were Claude-pilled.
The term spread because the conversion was legible from outside: the Claude-pilled talk differently ("I just told it to fix it and walked away"), schedule differently (see Claude Code is the reason you're single), and bill differently (see tokenmaxxing). By mid-2026 it was a self-identifier: in one widely shared poll of SF founders, 70.1% picked "I am Claude pilled" over every other allegiance on offer.
Its exact coiner is unattributed, which is fitting: nobody administers the pill, you take it yourself.
